Recently completed as part of my MArch(Prof) qualification, How to Prep a Hāngī was an exploration of whānau and iwi consultation, Participatory Design (or Co-design), and the integration of Mātauranga Māori concepts and principles within the design process. How to Prep a Hāngī was a successful piece of Masters research that was presented at the 2018 NZIA Resene Student Design Awards in Auckland, and also at Toitū he Kāinga, here in Wellington.
