Ngā Aho is a national network of Māori design professionals who come together to support each other to better serve the design aspirations of our Māori communities.

Building Strong Relationships

We foster the development of productive relationships and networks between members and their communities of interest.

Influencing Government Policy

We raise awareness and increase knowledge, amongst members and their communities of interest, in respect to Māori issues, aspirations, methods, practices and knowledge in the Society's fields of interest.

Supporting Māori Communities

We increase the profile and standing of members and their communities of interest – particularly iwi and hapū.

Growing Māori Practitioners

We support Māori and indigenous design professionals to be represented across all designs fields including of architecture, commercial design, engineering, landscape architecture, urban design, industrial design, graphic design, planning, project and resource management, and design-thinking / co-design.
