Toi whenua was a major arts programme that was run at Iwi and Hapu level across Toi Aotearoa

The project was across the region and I worked with Ngai Tahu, Ngati Kahungungu, Ngati Haua, Ngati Kuri

Toi Ake

Toi Ake was focused on three key areas for Iwi and Hapu 1) Iwi / Hapu Arts Management plan - What is the current health of the arts in a particular Hapu/Iwi and where does the Hapu want to take it. 2) As part of your Hapu/Iwi arts plan what have you prioritised and wehat can Toi Aotearoa fund. 3) How can you make ARts self sufficient in your hapu if that's what you want. Projects included: a) Development of an Arts Management plan that was measurable and tailored for the Iwi/ Hpau b) Website development for the arts in their hapu as a tolls for a database and a means of communication c) Wanaga to increase Kaikaranga and Kaikorero on their respective Marae.
