Kia ora, ko Benjamin Pehimana Tunui tōku ingoa, ko Ngāti Awa me Te Ātiawa ōku iwi. I hold a BAS (Int), GradDipDE and MArch (Prof). I was also honoured to receive the NZIA Student Design Awards top prize in December 2020 for my thesis 'Utu' which encourages the generation of new architectural starting points and outcomes through analyzing tikanga Māori in the form of powhiri (or any kind of performative art).
