Ben is a Registered Landscape Architect who has specialised in landscape planning and assessment since graduating from Unitec in 2006. Over this time he has led a number of landscape assessments that has identified natural character, landscape, and amenity values at both district and regional scales. Over the past two years Ben has been working with the Maori Cultural Heritage team at Auckland Council on developing methods and tools to protect and recognise cultural values in the region at both a site and landscape context.
Ben also has a strong background in landuse strategies, site planning, landscape management, and restoration for sensitive development projects with particular focus on integrating proposals into their surrounds.
