Tamaki Makaurau Co-Design, Environmental Planning and Management
I am a Pākehā student at Massey University, based in the SHORE and Whāriki Research Centre. I have experience working for central and local government on urban and te Tiriti o Waitangi/Treaty of Waitangi issues. I have previously completed research on housing development on Māori land, the recognition of Māori land in growth strategies, and housing affordability for Māori. I am currently undertaking doctoral research relating to the planning and development of land acquired by through Treaty settlement. This research is part of the Resilient Urban Futures programme led by the New Zealand Centre for Sustainable Cities, and funded by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
