Samantha was drawn to the action of construction via an architectural background having completed her Masters of Architecture [Prof] at Victoria University in 2010. She is interested in the unique architectural and construction requirements of developing communities.
Samantha actively develops Matauranga Maori principals into project delivery systems.
She has conducted research for the Earthquake Hazard Centre regarding earthquake-resistant design and construction; which aims to provide information that is relevant and appropriate to the limited resources available in developing communities
