I hold a Bachelor of Design from The University of Otago and am studying towards a Bachelor of Art and Design Honours in Spatial Design at the Auckland University of Technology.
My professional background is working with community groups as a project coordinator, facilitator, communications coordinator and designer.
I am interested and have been trained in the performing arts, specialising in contemporary dance, performance and capoeira.
My current interests are in the field of installation and performance and understanding ways of making spaces that utilise archival media to access memory.
I am also interested in how performances through and using new social media and cellular technologies are able to provide ways of strengthening the connections between people and their environments.
