Alayna is a Registered Landscape Architect, with NZILA and AILA. She holds a a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University, a Diploma in Maori from CPIT and a Certificate in Iwi Environmental Management from TWOA. Alayna is also currently completing her PhD with QUT, focusing on cultural landscape associations.
Additionally, Alayna currently manages MODE's Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Master Planning teams across Australia and New Zealand. She also holds positions on the AILA QLD Executive Committee and the AILA QLD Regional Landscapes group. She also makes an ongoing contribution to Te Tau a Nuku (Māori Landscape Architects Group).
