Jefa Greenaway is an awarding Architect, Interior Designer and Lecturer at the University of Melbourne. Jefa is a Director of Greenaway Architects and co-founder/Chair of Indigenous Architecture + Design Victoria [IADV], he routinely operates as the principle consultant for a range of projects types, liaising, directing and overseeing the work of a range of stakeholders. As one of less than 6 Indigenous Architects in private practice in Australia he has demonstrated a commitment to embedding cultural connectedness within the built environment, through a framework of working within socially complex environments. A recipient of the prestigious AIA Dulux Study Tour - Emerging Architect Prize, he champions design leadership in practice, academia and as a member of the City of Melbourne’s Public Art Advisory panel. He has recently worked on the Koorie Heritage Trust at Federations Square, Ngarara Place at RMIT and the Lowitja Institute HQ - among a suite of residential and commercial projects, along with his University roles.
