Born: Hastings, Aotearoa –1986.
Education: Bachelor of Performance Design, 2009
Since graduating from Massey University and Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, Jessica has put her training to work in a range of mediums including; producing, directing and editing video based projects, as well as designing posters, costumes and sets for theatre productions. Jessica has also started to design sets and visual projection installations for live music events (http://www.jessicasanderson.co.nz/Jessica_Sanderson_-_ONLINE_WORKBOOK/Events.html).
Jessica’s tertiary study was supported by an educational scholarship from Wakatu Incorporation, and in 2008 she was the recipient of the Aotea Star Award, which funded an internship with artist/filmmaker Luis Gispert in New York during 2009.
Jessica is currently working for TVNZ as a Promos Producer, as well as directing and producing her own video-based projects.
