Hui-ā-Tau
Ngā Aho hosts an annual indigenous design conference where all our members come together to share their mahi and work collaboratively on a kaupapa for the community. Ngā Aho hosts a biennial international hui-ā-tau, where our international indigenous whānau join us to share in discussions about design.
Kora Sessions
Established in 2011, Ngā Aho Kora Sessions are dynamic, fast-paced presentation evenings designed to share knowledge and inspire creativity across the Māori design community.
Using a PechaKucha-style format (20 slides at 20 seconds per slide), Kora Sessions feature spark-sized presentations from a diverse line-up of Māori creatives, architects, landscape designers, artists, and practitioners. The events provide a friendly, supportive platform to spotlight current mahi, share diverse insights into creative practice, and spark new ideas and connections within the whānau.
